Sitting in Molito, Alabang just less than a year, the Group & Boiler Coffee Co. offers a new take on coffee and the traditional coffee shop.
Their high ceiling gives it a clean and fresh ambiance. While the contrast of the white and dark walls gives a hint of warm feeling - a nice place to relax, to forget stress, and to hang out. Meanwhile, in front of their counter, they offer artisanal products ranging from detergents to utensils.

Meanwhile, they served coffee alongside cocktails and meals. Besides traditional espresso drinks, they have their signature drinks - one hot and one iced. For those who wanted a kick with their coffee, cocktail drinks are available like White Russian and Espresso Martini. They also have a range of sandwiches, pastas, and breakfast meals along with other products in their shelf over the counter.

I ordered The Group & Boiler Signature (Php 180) along with a bagel and cream cheese (Php 90) displayed in their shelf.
The Group & Boiler Signature has espresso shot, steamed milk, and cinnamon and sugar blow torched on the top. Served in a glass rather than a mug, their signature is a unique coffee experience. It has a strong acidic flavor that blends well with the steamed milk and the burnt cinnamon and sugar gives it a crispy experience, thus it has a well balance of light and heavy texture in the mouth.
Their bagel and cream cheese on the other hand is fair. The bagel was quite rough and hard to bite, but its tasted well especially the generous amount of cream cheese spread on it.
Summing up, Group & Boiler Coffee Co. is a pretty place to hang out with excellent and unique coffee drinks and martinis. Good for business meetings as well as going out barkadas. With its unique presentation and nice ambiance, I am looking forward to visiting Group & Boiler Coffee Co. to try more of their coffee and food.
