Overall Experience: 8 out of 10
Despite its small size shop, the La Marzocco Cafe displayed their focus in their coffee amidst a simply decorated place yet cunningly elegant and with style.

Located in the middle of the Salcedo Village, La Marzocco hoped to tap the vast market of professionals seeking a caffeine fix in the morning. What I liked about their place, despite their small area, they made it into a chic place to stay. They have bare and white colored walls but with the use of lights and dark colored furniture, the lighting and the contrast of colors turned it something brightly elegant and relaxing. La Marzocco is a brand of coffee equipment, thus it was no surprise that their machines displayed in the place effectively - becoming an additional decor to the shop.
Another interesting about La Marzocco is their menu. Very short and straightforward, they offer only basic coffee drinks - no meals and snacks. Just add additional Php 20 for an upsize and another one for an iced version. I tried their cappuccino (Php 140). Others might frown on the absence of food, but for me, it makes me concentrate to the coffee experience they offer.
Their cappuccino had a nice rich foam on the top followed by a creamy and mildly bitter body with a hint of acidity as an aftertaste. Its excellent blend of all coffee flavors gives a good kick especially in the morning.
With a nice simple place and excellent coffee along with descent prices, La Marzocco cafe is a nice stop to take in the morning before work or any other trips.
