Overall Experience: 8 out of 10
Coming in, the place has a light set up that tell feel at home. The style of the furniture, bookshelf and decoration helps to create this atmosphere. They provide a variety of dinning set up, from a long table for barkadas, a traditional table and chair set, or for a more comfortable and relaxing sofa and table.
Their menu also offers a lot of unique dishes and drinks. For food, they offer waffles, pastries, toast and many more. They also offer a variety of unique specialties such as the Latte Gianduja, Almond Turmeric Latte, and S’mores Mocha. From their menu, I tried their S’mores Mocha (Php 165), their Banana Brulee Waffles (Php 275), and a cup of their Cappuccino (Php 135).

S'mores Mocha
They Smores Mocha was presentable serving it in a nice stone mug with a big burnt marshmallow on the top. It has a strong dark chocolate aroma and flavor that chocolate lovers will like. The marshmallow has to be eaten quickly though as it tends to be rough and rubbery when it cools down.

Banana Brulee Waffles
On the other hand, their Banana Brulee Waffles was very generous and beautiful - a single order fits for 2. It has grilled bananas with caramelized top, bits of ricotta cheese and walnuts, a glop of cream, and banana syrup. Their waffle is soft and eating it with different combinations of other ingredients makes it playful food.

Cappuccino
Their Cappuccino, like their S’mores Mocha, was also served nicely in a stone cup and truly overflowing (literally as the staff serves it carefully so as not to spill it). It was creamy but the coffee's bitter roast taste remains distinct. The cinnamon powder though was a little bit distracting, but overall the coffee was good.
For a nice relaxing place to
stay with well-presented, good, and unique food and drinks, Bean & Yolk is
a choice to go. Their wide variety of specialties makes it enough to comeback
adding to their clean homey place. Bean & Yolk is must try cafe in the
south.
